Z Trim hydrogels are shear thinning liquid products available in a variety of viscosity and gel formats. They are most effective when utilized in foods of similar consistency and viscosity. A wide range of alternatives in wet suspensions, dry suspensions, creams and emulsion can be achieved either as a "stand-alone" to be rehydrated and added separately into a process or as part of a dry blend to be hydrated.

Z Trim is taste neutral, and can hold several times (up to over 25 times) its weight in water in either low or high viscosity, depending on use level. In addition, Z Trim gels deliver molecularly definable capacities for stable emulsions, foams and suspensions. A 80:20 natural blend of Z Trim amorphous fiber and conventional soluble fiber, used as a powder or a gel, provides the kind of functionality that formulators often find difficult to achieve.
